Privacy notice

What this covers

This notice covers the usenous.co website and the nous waitlist only. The nous app will have its own privacy policy, published before the app is released. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Who is responsible

nous is not yet a company. Until it is, the website and the waitlist are run by its founder, Vitor Braggion, in Italy, who is responsible for your data. You can reach us at hello@usenous.co.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist: your email address; your WhatsApp number, only if you type it and tick the box to get news there; the language of the page you used; the country you pick for your WhatsApp number, if you give it; and the page you signed up on. Our emails also record whether they were delivered and opened, and which link you clicked, with your device's user agent (the browser or mail app it reports). We use this to know the email arrived, to see which emails are opened and which buttons are clicked, and to keep the list healthy.

Why

To send you release news and project updates about nous, by email, and on WhatsApp if you asked for it. We do not use your details for anything else, and we never sell them.

Legal basis

Your consent. You give it when you join, and you can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing it does not affect what was sent before.

Where it is stored

In our database on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Emails are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES). Those delivery, open and click records also go, with your email address, to PostHog, hosted in the EU, so we can measure our emails. These services handle your details on our behalf and for no other purpose.

How long we keep it

Until nous opens. On that day we email you once to ask whether you want to stay for news; if you do not say yes, we delete your details. If you unsubscribe before then, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, with the delivery records of the emails we sent you, so we never write to you again. The same applies if an email bounces or is marked as spam.

How to leave

Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to hello@usenous.co. Unsubscribing stops every email. If you also want your details deleted, write to us and we delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them or receive a copy. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority where you live.

Website analytics

usenous.co measures visits with PostHog, hosted in the EU, without cookies and without personal data. The only cookie the site sets remembers the language you chose.
